Taking place on Thursday the 9th March from 11am to 1pm, at the Arroll Suite, Guinness Storehouse, the launch will provide an overview of the 2017 Awards, the judging process and information on how your business can get involved. Chambers Ireland staff will be on hand at the event to answer any questions and provide guidance on the application and judging processes. At the launch, a panel of CSR experts will also discuss harnessing partnerships to deliver best practice in CSR, how collaborations and combining skills can deliver high levels of social impact and best practice in relationship management.

Irish Water is seeking feedback on the following project currently under planning:

  • Irish Water is also accepting submissions on the development of a regional biosolids storage facility for the greater Dublin region, including parts of Kildare, Meath and Wicklow. This consultation is open until March 2nd and details can be found here: water.ie/project-plans/biosolids

 

  1. InterTradeIreland Workshops on SME tendering

Go-2-Tender is an InterTradeIreland programme which has been developed to give SMEs the confidence, knowledge and practical skills to tender successfully for public sector contracts in their own jurisdiction and on a cross-border basis.

The programme is geared towards SMEs who are new to tendering or who want to improve their basic tendering skills.  The course consists of a two day workshop and a half day of mentoring.  This mentoring may be extended by up to 2 additional days and all mentoring is delivered by an experienced consultant to assist with tender development.

  1. All Island Civic Dialogue on Brexit

Fourteen Brexit sectoral dialogues have been hosted by Ministers, in a range of locations across the country. Over 1100 industry and civic society representative groups from across the island participated in this consultation process.  Please find attached a report which outlines the key themes from each consultation and a full list of the events held.
